Didrex - Side Effects

Some side effects of didrex are restlessness, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or dry mouth. If these symptoms persist or become bothersome, consult with your doctor.


Didrex - Warnings

Didrex is not recommeded for patients with advanced arteriosclerosis, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, moderate to severe hypertension, hyper-thyroidism, known hypersensitivity or idiosyncrasy to sympathomimetic amines, or glaucoma. Didrex should not be used by people in an agitated state or who have a history of drug abuse. Didrex is not recommended for pregnant women or women who may become pregnant. If Didrex is used during pregnancy, or if the patient becomes pregnant while taking Didrex, she should be apprised of the potential hazard to the fetus. Do not breast feed while taking Didrex. If you suspect an overdose, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include restlessness, tremor, rapid breathing, confusion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramps.


Didrex - Proper Storage

Store at room temperature below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C), in a tightly closed container, away from heat and light.


Didrex - Proper Usage

Didrex should be taken about 30 minutes before a meal. The final dose of the day must be taken at least 4 to 6 hours before bedtime. If you are directed to take Didrex once a day, take the dose in the morning.


Didrex - Missed Dosge

If you miss a dose of Didrex, take it as soon as you remember, but if it is already time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take only the one regularly scheduled. Never take two doses at once.


Didrex - Drug Interactions

Inform your Doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and non-prescription drugs you may be taking. Do not use Didrex if you are also taking furazolidone, guanadrel, guanethidine, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any other questions about using Didrex.
