Take exactly as directed. Taking a higher dose than your doctor recommended or taking it for longer than recommended may increase the chances of experiencing unwanted side effects. Dosage is different for different patients. The average dose for adults is 7.5 milligrams once a day.

If you miss a dose of this medicine, take the missed dose as soon as possible, but if you do not remember the missed dose until the next day, just skip the missed dose and take only the next one as usual. Avoid taking a double dose.
